  • Take an old-timey photo with your friends or family at one of three shops
  • Descend into history on the Chollar Mine Tour, where guides lead you through one of the area’s richest Comstock mines.

  • Arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in and line up for boarding. 
  • This excursion lasts 6.25 hours, including the travel time and a 3.5-hour stopover in Virginia City. 
  • Depending on availability, you may be riding a steam or diesel train. Please double-check your tickets when purchasing. 
  • Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes for walking around.
  • While snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the Eastgate Depot, please do not eat or drink in our restored trains. There are many tasty places to eat in Virginia City!
