On select Saturdays in July through October, V&T Railway transforms one of its trains into a traveling tasting room for a 45-minute, round-trip ride.

- We recommend a casual and comfortable dress code.
- There are restrooms onboard the train during this ride.
- At this time, this excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
Tips for a Smooth Journey
Like a fine wine, this experience is best enjoyed unrushed. Here’s how to make sure you’re prepared for every sip and story:
- Plan your route to the Eastgate Depot in Carson City.
- Arrive at the depot at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to check in, watch the engine breathe steam against the Nevada sky, and find your seat.
- We recommend large groups arrive together, so they can be seated near each other. Seating is not assigned on this train ride.
- Bring your camera or have your phone charged. Trust us: There will be plenty of Instagram-worthy sights, including historic reduction mills and timber processing mills!
